Fire on Tupelo
Today there was a house fire on Tupelo but thankfully everyone is okay.  A tree fell on the power lines apparently starting a fire at the electric box.  It is my understanding that some neighbors called it in and made sure the resident made it out okay.

Dogs roaming free
We have now twice this week seen a black lab(s) wandering the neighborhood.  I jumped in my car once to try to track him/her down but didn’t have any luck.  If anyone knows who the owner is please let me know.  We can certainly give a call if we see the dog again.

Next meeting
I have been particularly insane this month and apologize for not getting the next meeting setup yet.  To give adequate time I am going to suggest we have the meeting on Saturday the 31st.   If anyone is interested in hosting this meeting please send me an email.

Helping out
I could use some help keeping the website current if anyone is interested.  I get a lot of news from the County that could be posted but haven’t been able to keep up. It would be great to generate some additional content as well (area news, safety tips, etc).  If you want to help out send me an email.

Venice Cleanup take 2
I would like to hit the entrance on Venice again since trash has been building up again.  Last time I passed through there it looked pretty rough.  I imagine with a few trash bags and a few bodies we can clean it up in no time.  I would like to suggest we knock it out really quick after our next meeting.
