Operation: County Commissioner

There are several items which we think that would be best dealt with by going through the County Commissioner’s office.  We need your help to push this through.  Larry Johnson can be reached at (404) 371-2425 or via email at larryjohnson@co.dekalb.ga.us (thanks Cindy!)

• Burnt house on Harvest – what can be done about it?
• Entrances – need to be cleaned up and cut back
• Fire hydrants – need 1 installed on Harvest and test all in neighborhood

October Crime Watch Meeting

It is that time again.  We are getting close to making our watch official so we need your support and involvement.  Please put our next meeting on your calendar.  We will be meeting at 1520 Harvest Lane at 7pm on Friday October 3rd.  Internet access will be provided so you can sign up for the website on the spot.

Getting Official

In our ongoing effort to get official with the county and police department we have been gathering signatures from our residents.  We are currently collecting the completed forms from the block captains (please turn these in to Toni).  After we consolidate those we will identify and attempt to contact anyone who hasn’t signed up.  This should get us what we need to get official support from the police.  This will mean we get a representative who will coordinate with us and also hopefully get us new signs.  If you haven’t signed the petition form please contact your block coordinator or contact us at info@dekalbcrimewatch.org.
