There was an incident early this morning (around 4am from what I am hearing). The AJC has posted an article but so far with no updates.

As many of you noticed there was a manhunt this morning to find the 2nd suspect in an incident at the apartments just next to us on Memorial. I have spoken to a couple neighbors and as of yet haven’t heard any further developments. The helicopters have stopped flying over from what I can tell so perhaps things have been called off or they have found him.

Update!  I spoke to the south precinct and what I have been told is that…

- The manhunt has been called off
- SWAT has left the area
- The other suspect is still at large

I was advised that we should be on the lookout and report ANY suspicious activity.  The number to reach the South Precinct non-emergency number is 404-286-7948.  I gave them my number so once they have a description or further details hopefully they will call me back.
